Without a plan ,best intentions and eagerness often get us into tight corners . Considering this let us start with some initial steps that will lead us down the path of connectivity. Each week two posts will be added to this blog that will outline the discussion and exploration for the week based on one theme along the path of digital leadership and connectedness. I encourage you to add to the discussion and to post your own thoughts and any information that you have discovered and found useful to your own digital journey.
Here we go . . . POST #1
Educators are the guardians of equity - challenging the practices that hinder true learning for all. P. Prochilo ,personal communication
This quote forms the basis of all decisions I make within my school community , for my students, staff and for my own learning. It has been the motivating factor in my exploration of the opportunities digital learning provides for everyone. This belief speaks to the need to provide digital learning opportunities for our students and to ensure school staff is supported in their own digital learning and practice. In order for these needs to be met, I must ensure that my own digital learning and leadership meets my own goals as well as the ISTE standards. This website reveals some of the information and motivation for my path to digital leadership. Each tab provides a link to all of the educators and scholars presented in the hope that you connect with their work and use it to inform your practice. I look forward to learning with you

This blog is a space to connect and reflect on 21st century digital leadership.
